Acceptance of terms
By using Lynt, you agree to these terms. If we change them, we'll update this page; continued use means you're okay with the new version.
What Lynt is
Lynt is a web app for building resumes and cover letters: a design editor with templates, an ATS readiness check, optional AI assistance, job-posting tailoring, PDF and DOCX export, and an application tracker. We may change, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Your account
You sign in with Google: that's Lynt's only sign-in method; there's no separate Lynt password. You're responsible for your account and what happens on it. You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.
Your content
You own everything you create in Lynt. We don't claim it. We need a limited license to run the app: to store it, display it back to you, run AI features on it when you ask, and let you export it. Don't use Lynt for anything illegal or to harm others; we can remove content, including published public pages, that breaks these terms or applicable law.
Public resume pages
If you publish a resume page (lynt.space/your-username), you control whether it's public and whether downloads are enabled, and you can take it down at any time. Content on a public page is visible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines depending on your settings. Report content that violates these terms or infringes your rights via Report content.
AI features
AI suggestions are optional and always require your approval before they change your document: Lynt AI never edits your content silently. Suggestions are provided "as is"; we don't guarantee they're accurate, complete, or appropriate for any specific job or employer, and you're responsible for reviewing anything before you send it. We're not liable for decisions you make based on AI output or on the ATS readiness score, which is a structural/parsing check, not a hiring guarantee.
Acceptable use
Don't: attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions; scrape or bulk-extract other users' public content; upload malicious files or content that infringes someone else's rights; impersonate another person; or use Lynt to generate spam or abusive job applications at scale. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Plans and pricing
Lynt currently offers a free plan. We may introduce additional paid plans with expanded features; current plans, features, and pricing are described on the site and may change with reasonable notice.
Data retention
We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete your account or a document, we remove or anonymize the data within the 30-day window described in the Privacy Policy, except where we must keep it longer (for example, law or security).
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or lost data or profits, from using or not being able to use Lynt.
Indemnification
You agree to cover us for claims, damages, or costs that arise from your use of the app, your content, or your breaking these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a new version and updating the "Last updated" date. If you keep using Lynt, that's acceptance. For questions, reach out via contact@lynt.space or see Contact.
